This Privacy Policy describes how SignalLens Lite (the "Service") collects, uses, and shares information when you use it. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

What we collect

  • Pasted commentary. When you run an analysis, the text you paste is sent to our servers and to our AI provider to generate a structured summary. We do not use it to train our own models unless we tell you otherwise in a future update.
  • Watchlists you enter. Symbols you type may be sent with your analysis request for matching in the AI output. If you sign in and cloud save is enabled for your deployment, your watchlist may be stored in our database associated with your account so it syncs across devices. If you use the Service without signing in, your watchlist may be kept only in your browser (local storage) on your device.
  • Email and account information (Clerk). If this deployment uses Clerk for authentication, Clerk processes sign-in data such as email address, name, and session identifiers according to Clerk's privacy policy. We receive identifiers needed to recognize your account (for example, a user id) and may receive profile fields Clerk makes available to the app.
  • App usage data. Our hosting provider (for example, Vercel) typically collects technical data such as IP address, request metadata, and timestamps in server and platform logs. If we enable analytics or error monitoring, those tools may collect usage events, device or browser information, and performance data. We use such information to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • AI API processing. Content you submit for analysis is transmitted to third-party AI APIs (for example, OpenAI) to produce results. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Do not submit secrets, regulated personal data, or information you are not allowed to share with such providers.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • Authenticate signed-in users and sync saved watchlists;
  • Detect abuse, fraud, and security issues;
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.

Sharing

We share information with service providers that help us run the Service (hosting, authentication, database, and AI inference). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Retention

Log and analytics retention depends on our providers and configuration. Saved watchlist data is kept until you delete it or delete your account, subject to backups and technical limits. AI providers may retain API traffic according to their policies.

Your choices

You can clear locally stored data from your browser settings. Signed-in users can manage account data through Clerk where available. You may contact us to ask about access or deletion where applicable law requires it.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do.
